Legal notice
What I can and cannot do, in writing.
This page is not here as a formality. It is here because in this line of work people get defrauded precisely for not knowing these things.

I am not an attorney
Rosmery Cárdenas is not an attorney and RC Professional Multiservices LLC is not a law firm. Nothing on this site, and nothing I tell you in person, by phone, or by message, is legal advice.
Using this site or hiring my services does not create an attorney-client relationship, and therefore none of the confidentiality privilege that exists with an attorney applies.

About the word “notario”
In Venezuela, Colombia, Mexico, and much of Latin America, a “notario público” is a lawyer with broad powers. In Florida that is not what a notary public is. A Florida notary public is a witness authorized by the State to verify identity and observe signatures. Nothing more.
For that reason I do not use, and do not accept being called, “notario”, “notaria”, “notario público”, “immigration assistant”, “immigration consultant”, or “immigration specialist”. Florida law forbids those terms to anyone not authorized to represent a person in an immigration matter.

Notary public services
A Florida notary public fee is set by statute and may not exceed $10 per notarial act.
I cannot notarize a blank or incomplete document, and I cannot notarize the signature of anyone who is not physically present and properly identified.
As a Florida notary public I am authorized to solemnize marriages within the state. The couple must first obtain a Florida marriage license, and I must return the signed license to the county office within 10 days.

Nonlawyer document preparation
When I help you complete an approved legal form, I act as a typist: I enter onto the form the information you give me. I do not select the form for you, tell you what rights or remedies you have, tell you how to answer or how to testify, or represent you in court.
Before any such work begins, I give you and we both sign the Disclosure from Nonlawyer (Florida Family Law Rules of Procedure Form 12.900(a)). You keep a copy. My name, address, and telephone number appear on every form I help complete.

Immigration forms
My immigration work is limited to transcription and document organization. I select nothing: you or your attorney decide which form applies.
I do not assess eligibility, recommend strategy, interpret immigration law, or represent you before USCIS, the Department of State, or an immigration court. If your case needs any of that, you need an immigration attorney or a Department of Justice accredited representative.

Credit services
I cannot remove negative information that is accurate, complete, and within the legal reporting period. Nobody can. Any person or company promising otherwise is lying to you.
I do not guarantee score increases or specific outcomes. Disputes I file are limited to information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable.
Before you sign any contract you receive the written “Consumer Credit File Rights Under State and Federal Law” statement, and you have three business days to cancel at no cost.
- 07
Tax preparation
I prepare and sign returns as a paid preparer under my IRS PTIN. My public accounting degree is Venezuelan: I am not a US-licensed Certified Public Accountant, I am not an Enrolled Agent, and I do not represent anyone before the IRS in audits, appeals, or collections.
You remain ultimately responsible for the accuracy of the information you give me and of the return you sign.

No guarantee of outcome
I do not control the timing or the decisions of Sunbiz, the IRS, USCIS, the credit bureaus, or any court. I promise no approvals, no timelines, and no results.
